HAPPY START-OF-THE-HOLIDAYS SEASON, EVERYONE!! I’m going to keep it short this time, I promise….
(1) First, a reminder that the weather ABSOLUTELY has an impact on your nail services/retention. Cold/hot and dry/wet are HORRIBLE for nail products!! PLEASE do your part with your at home care by using your cuticle oil *at least* twice per day (more will absolutely not hurt them!!), keep lotion off of your nails, do not pick or peel off your products, and wear gloves when gardening and doing any kind of cleaning (dishes, toilets, etc). Also, some medications can interfere as well.
(2) I am struggling right now with having enough clients to pay my bills. You can help by referring me to friends, family, co-workers, the grocery clerk, etc. You can write a review on my Google listing. You can add on services to your existing appointments — I offer paraffin dips, extra massage, a hand scrub, callus treatment for your feet, and a lot of artwork. You can purchase nail products from me instead of Amazon (I’m usually cheaper for the same stuff, anyway!! And, I guarantee it’s real and in date… they do not.
(3) Speaking of referrals… I am changing my referral program. I will honor your existing cards with one or more stickers/stamps, but from now on, every client you send my way will earn you $5 off your next appointment!! Now, you don’t have to save up or keep track of your card!
(4) Another reminder to PUT YOUR PHONE AWAY during nail appointments (using, but silent, during pedicures is fine). Seriously; the table is small enough, and the damn phone is in my way. Plus, it’s distracting! Please put it in your pocket, in your purse, or in the plastic holder on my apothecary, and SILENCE IT!
(5) And, lastly, “on time” is 5m early so we can wash our hands, and you can put your things up before we start.
